Lynda Hopkins was elected to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors in November 2016, becoming West County’s first female Supervisor who joined Sonoma County’s first female majority on the Board of Supervisors when she took office in January 2017.
Since taking office as Sonoma County’s 5th District Supervisor, Lynda has sought to deliver for her constituents on the issues she campaigned on, from smoother roads and streets to affordable housing, homelessness, and adaptation to a changing climate, amongst other key policy priorities.
Supervisor Hopkins has worked on the issues that matter most while dealing with the unforeseen challenges we’ve faced: from floods and wildfires to the pandemic and cost-of-living challenges.
